Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Medical Examination and Diagnosis:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients.
- Review medical histories and records.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (such as blood tests, imaging studies, etc.).
- Provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on their diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions.
- Perform medical procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Discharging clinical duties in the hospital by conducting; ward rounds, OPDs and providing emergency cover.
- Stays on call for emergency cases and critically ill patients and be immediately summoned to the hospital when required.
Patient Consultation:
- Communicate with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and potential outcomes.
- Address patient concerns and answer questions.
- Provide education on maintaining health and preventing illness.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient through Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Document patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team:
- Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
Continuing Medical Education:
- Stay current with medical knowledge, advancements, and best practices.
- Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Emergency Care:
- Respond to medical emergencies within the hospital.
- Provide urgent and critical care as needed.
Adherence to Ethical and Legal Standards:
- Adhere to medical ethics and legal standards in patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Stay informed about and contributes to hospital policies and procedures.
Teaching and Supervision:
- In academic hospitals, physicians may be involved in teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.

Additionally, physicians may be required to comply with hospital-specific policies and protocols.
Qualifications:
- MBBS/FCPS, qualified or relevant degree from recognized center.
- Experience in relevant field.
- Educated with fluency in English, Pashto, Urdu
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility, motivation, and maturity
