Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Preoperative Assessment:
Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations of patients to assess their medical history, current health status, and potential risks associated with anesthesia.

Administer appropriate types and doses of anesthesia during surgical or medical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Monitoring:
Monitor vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, during the entire anesthesia period. Respond promptly to any changes or complications.
Patient Care:
Provide postoperative care, including pain management, monitoring recovery, and managing any complications or side effects related to anesthesia.
Collaboration:

Qualifications & Skills:
- FCPS/MCPS/Diploma or equivalent degree in Anesthesia.
- Obtain certification from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) or another recognized medical board.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in Anesthesiology.
- A level head and great deal of patience.
- Empathy and strong communication skills are required while explaining procedures to patients/close relations who are going through the traumatic procedures.
- Being well organized and demonstrating strong problem solving skills are important during an operation. Sometimes, decisions have to be made very quickly to save a patient’s life.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals and providing information to patients and their families.
